Jessica Bernstein-Wax is a documentary filmmaker based in San Francisco. She also has worked as a news reporter in Spain, Mexico and the Bay Area.

In 2016 Jessica directed and produced "Double Talk," a short documentary about Joan Pera, the actor who is the (dubbed) on-screen voice of Woody Allen, Rowan Atkinson and Jerry Lewis in Spain. 

In 2019 she directed, filmed and edited "On Retreat," a short documentary about Judith Skinner's 23-years-and-counting Buddhist retreat in the middle of San Francisco.

Jessica also works as a digital editor at UCSF, creating original content for social media, including a cat video that went viral with more than 14 million views.
